EIT Alumni CONNECT 2025: Europe’s Innovators Reunite in Brussels

On 17 October 2025, alumni from across the EIT Community gathered at Maison de la Poste in Brussels for EIT Alumni CONNECT 2025. This year’s theme, “The Missing Piece,” invited participants to reflect on what they need to advance their careers, and to find it within the community.

The event brought together graduates from all EIT Knowledge and Innovation Communities for a full day of learning, networking, and collaboration. The programme featured inspiring keynote sessions, hands-on breakout workshops, and, for the first time, a Career & Collaboration Fair connecting alumni directly with companies, startups, and research partners.

A pre-event networking evening set the tone for meaningful exchanges, while lunch at the Gare Maritime Food Market offered a relaxed space for informal conversations and new connections.

Running alongside the main programme, WE Lead @ CONNECT gathered women innovators from the EIT Food community for co-creation sessions and peer-to-peer discussions, strengthening ties across the network.

CONNECT 2025 once again demonstrated the strength of the EIT Alumni community: diverse, international, and united by a shared drive to innovate. New collaborations, ideas, and opportunities emerged throughout the day, showing that sometimes, the missing piece is simply being in the right room with the right people.
