On 17 October 2025, alumni from across the EIT Community gathered at Maison de la Poste in Brussels for EIT Alumni CONNECT 2025. This year’s theme, “The Missing Piece,” invited participants to reflect on what they need to advance their careers, and to find it within the community.
In 2024, the EIT Alumni Community continued to expand its impact through strategic collaborations, high-profile event participation, and the transition to a new EIT Alumni Board. This year marked a shift in leadership, reinforcing the network’s commitment to fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and cross-community engagement. Throughout the year, the EIT Alumni Community actively represented the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) at major global summits, including INNOVEIT, Greentech Festival, Slush, Hello Tomorrow Global Summit, and the Women and Girls in STEM Forum.
EIT Alumni Nodes Launch and EIT Alumni CONNECT 2023 took place in Barcelona, Spain, on November 23-24, 2023. The groundbreaking EIT Alumni Nodes initiative was launched at the EIT Urban Mobility CLC South offices (Torre Glòries).
This initiative aims to provide physical spaces for EIT Alumni innovators and entrepreneurs, serving as incubators for collaboration and innovation. EIT Alumni is an interdisciplinary and multicultural network of graduates of all EIT's Knowledge Innovation Communities who share a vision of a more sustainable Europe.
The EIT Community has announced the winners of its Deep Tech Talent Training Prize, awarding a total of EUR 440,000 to honour seven top organisations dedicated to improving skills, fostering diverse training collaborations and creating inclusive training programmes in deep tech.
The prize recognises and rewards outstanding contributions from training providers, universities and industry partners addressing challenges in deep tech education and bridging Europe’s skills gap.
EIT Alumni were thrilled to be part of 2023's HIMSS European Conference Exhibition on 7-9 June in Lisbon, Portugal. Without a doubt, one of the highlights of the event was the incredible energy and vibrant atmosphere brought to Lisbon by the EIT network.
